The
World of Teenage Mutant
Hero Turtles Trading Cards issued in the UK during 1990.
The name change from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Teenage Mutant
Hero Turtles was brought on by UK Government intervention.They
considered that the word Ninja invoked violence in young children.
The First Movie cards were not issued in the UK by wax pack to my
knowledge.Topps in Ireland issued a Factory set,contained in two
separate boxes to cover the 132 card set.Stickers were not issued.
TM Hero Turtles,cartoon TV issue was available by wax box and
factory set.Strangely they appear to have issued both white back and
dark
backed cards.The stickers issued were slightly smaller than the USA
issue.All Teenage
