Superman trading cards
since the Gum Inc release of 1940.
Superman cards popularity began with the Superman Movie Trading card
release by Topps in 1978.Superman II and III Movies were again captured
in card form by Topps.Although the cards were fairly standard,the foil
stickers were a step forward in card technology.The Superman Doomday
Trading Card release in 1992 was a World Wide hit,apparently selling
out
at the time of release.
Return of Superman Cards a year later again increased
awareness of our Super Hero.
Superman Man of Steel Platinum Series,Collector's and Platinum
Edition,trading card release by Skybox was another hit due to the high
standard of insert cards and the Superman Skydisc.
1996 saw the release of the Superman Action Packs to hail the Superman
Animated TV series.Our final series is from 1996 with the Superman Trading Cards
First DC All Hologram Set.
